Lumen Sapientiae is a non-profit organization, based in Huarmey, Peru. We strive to improve social and economic development for low income fishing communities on the Northern Peruvian coast. We provide hands-on job training which endows those trained with marketable employment skills. Our "learn-to-earn" method fosters training that allows those we serve to retain employment, pay cost-of-living expenses, overcome poverty, and assume a feeling of well-being within their communities.
